Our Family Clinic at West Shore Medical is a primary care unit, which offers continuous healthcare for all ages, from infants to seniors, all under one roof. It is an excellent way to ensure that everyone in your family receives proper healthcare services; focusing on vaccinations, general checkups, managing common minor and chronic illnesses, treatment of injuries, preventative screenings and health advice.
The main advantages of our Family Clinic are:
- Everyone sees the same family physician, which leads to strong doctor-patient relationships and deep knowledge of the whole family’s health history.
- There is easy access to comprehensive services, from routine check-ups to referrals, to specialist physicians.
- The clinic is integrated with the hospital. This means an easier referral system and smooth handoffs to specialist physicians within the hospital if needed.
- It is also focused on holistic, preventive healthcare, taking your family’s dynamics into account, promoting health screenings, and offering advice on lifestyle changes to keep everyone healthy.
- It is convenient. The clinic is open five days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, and Saturday 8.00 am to 3.00 pm.
